The reason? The insider said the rumor is that Rulon was caught multiple times with a cell phone a big no-no on the Ranch , and may have even snuck his wife into the Ranch late at night which is no easy fete, according to past contestants! This was not the only reason he was asked to leave, but the source said this is the basic gist of what happened.
Also surprising? Rulon and his partner Justin are no longer friends! This may explain why there was no mention whatsoever of Rulon on the Finale show last night. And the producers did reach out to him about participating in the finale, but they unfortunately did not hear back from Rulon, but we wish him the best. And then, when he beats her, they fraudulently gave the victory to Tara anyway!!! What crooks!
I lost my respect and trust to Biggest Loser. Constant criticism about the extra calories he was taking in to stay bulked up? There it is.
Not only did Rulon need to leave the show in order to shift his training regimen toward wrestling and away from weight loss, he needed to leave the show in order to get free of his contractual obligations to NBC. This suggests that he left when he left in order to start some contractual clock running.
Surely he had obligations to NBC from the start, and apparently, he wanted to get free of them as soon as he had gotten what he wanted from the network. Are you kidding me? His departure from the show aired on April 26, but it was taped several months earlier than that. If we knew precisely when he severed those ties and then we did the math leading up to these Facebook announcements, I bet we would have a pretty good idea how long that non-compete clause lasted.
He is launching a lot of new projects, and NBC is clearly not getting a piece of any of them. He goes on to speak to the famous chip-eating episode, which is sure to make his fans happy. But, what also comes through is his bitterness. These are his beefs.
But he already told us above that he only watched 20 minutes of the whole season. This is just non-sensical, ill-tempered, petulance. One or the other. Not both. I knew the chips were an issue for fans of the show, but why are they such an issue for Rulon? No matter. One of the wonderful things about The Biggest Loser is that fans become emotionally engaged in the journeys of its contestants.
We might root for one over an other when it comes to winning the money, but most fans really root for all the players.
