Each of the cottages are fitted with wood beamed ceilings Right near the start of the Cabot Trail with restaurants nearby. Loved the little Cabin - so quaint and had everything we needed. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Would stay again! Free Wi-Fi and beautiful on-site walking trails are available. I loved the cabin and the veranda. It was so nice sitting outside at night watching the bonfire and looking at the big full moon that night. The cabin interior was so homey and spacious and very clean.
We sat and played cards at the table for hours. It was a great experience and we enjoyed the town of Baddeck as well. Very spacious and immaculate room. Excellent location. Hebridean Motel is located in Port Hood.

I like that it was close to shops. I especially liked Farmers Daughter which has baked goods and gift shop combined. I would definitely return as they accept pets, just bring your own blanket to cover up the furniture if your pet likes to snuggle up to you. The resort was absolutely beautiful.

Easy access from my car to my room.. Would be good for folks who are handicapped and cannot walk very far. No steps to deal with. Laundry facilities handy. Beautiful area and a great kick off to the Cabot Trail. Limited dining options unless you want to drive a ways, which is hard if you have already traveled a long time to get there. This shouldn't be considered a deterrent, but just to set the appropriate expectations. There is one licensed serves alcohol pub and one non-licensed.
Food was good at the non-licensed. Great spot, only sorry we had bad weather when we were there. Charlene's Restaurant is a great little place with exceptional food. The seafood chowder is famous for a reason, it and the biscuit were amazing! The hotel is so nice and provides extremely excellent service. We forgot something at hotel and they mail it to to my home. I will check in again when the next time we are travelling to Cape Breton.
